What does FedRAMP equivalent mean for CMMC Space?
FedRAMP equivalent means a cloud service provider (CSP) like ATX Defense has security controls that meet or exceed the requirements of a specific FedRAMP baseline. It’s often seen as a quick way to ensure compliance and an “easy button” for getting CMMC certified since the system has already been independently assessed.
What’s the catch? Our other estimates for CMMC compliance are thousands more.

Yes, CMMC Space includes complimentary hours for readiness, preparation, and guidance needed before and during your CMMC assessment. CMMC Space also includes all of the documentation you’ll need for a successful assessment.
What documentation is needed for an assessment?
CMMC assessments require you to show both policies and evidence. That includes system security plans (SSPs), plans of action & milestones (POAMs), and procedures — plus proof that the practices are actually in place (system logs, training records, configuration screenshots, etc.). CMMC Space includes all of the documentation you’ll need for an assessment and continues to keep your documentation updated as long as you have the subscription.
Can you also be our C3PAO?
We can’t be your C3PAO if you are using CMMC Space. As an Authorized C3PAO, ATX Defense cannot assess any client for whom it has also provided consulting, advisory, or implementation services. This is a strict conflict of interest rule designed to ensure the integrity and impartiality of the official certification process.
What’s the cost for ITAR?
With CMMC Space, the costs for ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance is an additional $30 per user per month with an annual commitment and $36 per user per month for month-to-month. We believe transparent pricing helps companies budget for their compliance needs.
